BookkeepingRE LLC ("BookkeepingRE," "we," "us") provides bookkeeping services for real estate and service-based businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through bookkeepingre.com and in the course of providing our services, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a discovery call, email us, or become a client, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, business details, and scheduling information.

Client financial information. When you engage us for bookkeeping services, you (or systems you authorize) share financial records with us: bank and credit card statements, receipts, invoices, loan documents, and access to your accounting platforms. We use this information only to perform the services you hired us for.

Website data. Like most websites, our site and its embedded tools (scheduling, chat) may collect standard technical data such as browser type, pages visited, and cookies needed for those tools to work.

What we never do

We never sell your personal or financial information. We never share client financial data except as needed to perform our services or as required by law.

Who we share information with

We use trusted service providers to deliver our services, such as accounting platforms (for example QuickBooks Online), secure document and communication tools, scheduling software, and payment/billing processors. These providers handle data only as needed to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Security

Client credentials are stored in an encrypted password manager, financial documents live in access-controlled systems, and access is limited to the team members who work on your books.

Retention

We keep client records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet bookkeeping and tax record-keeping standards, then delete or archive them.

Your rights

If you are a California resident, you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we are required to keep). Email us and we will respond.

Children

Our services and website are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date.
